LEAD2 European Partners' meeting & workshops successfully took place in Lisbon, 15-17 October 2021
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building, LEAD2 project, Universidade Nova De Lisboa and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, have successfully organised the LEAD2 consortium meeting and workshops on Diversified Education and Academic Leadership. Twenty university leaders and staff from European partner universities attended this meeting and workshops.
The LEAD2 European partners' meeting was organised on 15 October 2021. Prof. Joao Amaro de Matos, Vice Rector of NOVA, welcomed all participants to the workshops. The main content of the meeting includes LEAD2 project progress and result updates, the use of LEAD2 MOOC series on Academic Leadership, LEAD2 project dissemination activities, establishment of EU-China University Research and Training Centre for Academic Leaderships, and LEAD2 policy recommendations (EU-China) for University Governance and Academic Leadership Capacity Building.
The LEAD2 workshops on contemporary cultural transformation & the development of university academic leadership, and virtual internationalisation were organised on 16 October 2021. Eight keynote speeches were delivered by professors, researchers from European and Chinese universities. Consistent with the keynote speeches, the parallel discussion sessions on virtual internationalisation were organised. Participants exchanged views on conceptualisation of virtual internationalisation, the changes and impacts of virtual internationalisation on institution development.
